Despite a ceasefire agreement between the Syrian government and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), there have been more outbreaks of fighting.
Syria’s army says the SDF is responsible for releasing a number of ISIL prisoners detained in the al-Shaddadi prison in Hasakah governate.
The SDF denies that and says the prison has fallen out of their control because of attacks.
